I think this portrait is stunning. The contrast is excellent on the subject and her gaze is captured wonderfully. There is strong chiaroscuro on the subject as well. I like the fact that the background is not one solid colour but that there is variation. It adds visual interest to the portrait. 

I personally adore this portrait. There is a lot of movement going on in the photo and it wonderfully captures Meryl Streep's essence and beauty.  I love the contrast between the very white and the very dark it adds a lot of visual interest. 

This portrait is beautifully done. I like the way the composition is set up so that the subject it off center, it adds a lot of visual interest that way. There is a lot of strong contrast and chiaroscuro done here as well that adds a nice element.
